David Tollefson's 1963 B-Code Galaxie

 

David's car started life as a Virginia car where it was purchased to drag race. It was later restored in North Carolina where it sat for many years in a private collection before a dealer in Florida bought the car, from whom David bought the Galaxie.

 
 

The motor was tired when David got the car so they did more then just your basic rebuild. This beast makes 496 hp at the flywheel on the dyno and chassis dynos at 370 hp at the wheels. Some of the features are a solid roller cam, hidden MSD electronics with Flow Master exhaust and the restored tri-power system.

As you can see, the interior is all business. David says he mostly just uses the car to drive to car shows now but has never won a trophy because the car is so plain. I'll take mine plain any day!
